You can tell Keystone to remember where you want some screens to appear within the Keystone window using the Custom Screen Positioning feature.
Sometimes when you have two screens open in Keystone, you want to be able to look at information on both screens at the same time without having to switch back and forth. Instead of having to reposition the screens each time, Keystone allows you to customize where you want certain screens so that the next time you open them, they are positioned where you want them. For example, you may wish to position the Payments screen such that you can see both the individual payments on that screen and the summary information on the Mortgage/Payment Information screen at the same time.
Screens that can be repositioned in this way have the symbol in their lower right-hand corner. If you hover the cursor over this symbol, you will see the message, “Save the position of this screen.” After you click on the symbol, you will see the message, “Current position saved”. Now when this screen is opened in the future, it will appear in the position you set it to.
Each user can have their own custom screen position settings. When you save a screen position, it does not affect any other users.
You can set a new position for the screen by clicking the @ symbol again.
Some screens are used in a variety of contexts. However, when you set the position for that screen, it will always appear there until you change it, regardless of what other screens in Keystone you have open.
For example, the Picture and Document List screens are used with multiple other screens, such as Contacts and Family Partners. As a result, you may have positioned it where you want it with respect to the Contacts screen but have in a less than ideal position for the Family Partners screen. In cases like this, you should set the position of the most important screen (e.g., Contacts, Family Partners) first; then set the position of the other screens relative to it.
